Welding in STABO Quality

Welding procedure tests in accordance with EN 15614 and ASME IX are available for the following materials:

  • Heat-resistant, fine-grained steels of grades P355GH, P460NH, 15NiCuMoNb5
  • Heat-resistant CrMo steels of grades 13CrMo4 5, 10CrMo 9 10
  • Heat-resistant special grade P91
  • Cryogenic, fine-grained steels up to P460NL2
  • High-strength tempering steels up to P690 QL
  • Austenitic grades 1.4301, 1.4404, 1.4571, 1.4539
  • Duplex steels 1.4462

Welding processes applied:

  • Submerged arc tandem welding
  • Submerged arc narrow-gap welding up to 240 mm wall thickness
  • Submerged arc nozzle welding
  • WIG orbital welding
  • Manual welding processes 141, 111, 136

Heat treatments:

  • Stress-relief heat treatment for components up to 150 tons
  • Normalisation annealing for components up to 30 tons
